Industrial Account Manager – Chemical Sales (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Account Manager to drive sales of specialized chemical, paint, and coating solutions across a defined territory in South Louisiana. The role blends new‑business development with ongoing account management for commercial and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, focusing on 15‑20% of effort on outbound new business.
• Maintain accurate records in Zoho CRM and collaborate with internal teams to deliver service solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on product performance under high‑temperature and demanding service conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience in petrochemicals, paints/coatings, or oil & gas.
• Residency in the Baton Rouge area with an established network of contacts in South Louisiana.
• Proven ability to manage accounts and meet sales targets.
• College degree in business, construction, or a related field.
• Ability to pass background checks for Gulf Coast facility access.

Required skills

• Zoho CRM management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• $85,000 base salary (DOE) plus uncapped commission and bonus potential.
