Indirect Procurement Manager - Industrial Goods & Services

About the role

Agropur is looking for a Manager, Indirect Procurement - Industrial Goods & Services in Appleton, WI or Eden Prairie, MN. The role develops and executes category strategies across Industrial Goods & Services to support Agropur's North American manufacturing network, leading strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract governance and value creation. It works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Finance and Procurement, and acts as a strategic business partner to plant leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies and establish category roadmaps aligned with operational priorities and risk mitigation.
• Lead strategic sourcing, competitive bidding, contract negotiations and supplier selection, and support preferred supplier programs.
• Consolidate suppliers, standardize specifications and leverage enterprise buying power across manufacturing sites.
• Monitor markets, commodities and supplier developments, and lead supplier business reviews, scorecards and KPIs.
• Manage supplier partnerships, contracts, SLAs and corrective actions, and escalate supplier issues at executive level.
• Support plant reliability by managing MRO, spare parts, maintenance services and technical suppliers.
• Ensure procurement policies and governance are applied, and approve exceptions to sourcing strategies and supplier governance.
• Deliver annual cost reduction, cost avoidance and value creation targets, and manage category risks and business continuity plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related field; MBA or equivalent a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Preferred: experience supporting manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, maintenance or industrial services categories, and in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success managing complex sourcing projects, supplier negotiations and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and influencing skills.
