About the role
We are seeking board‑certified Occupational or Preventive Medicine physicians to join Managed Medical Review Organization (MMRO) as independent medical reviewers. Working remotely, you will provide objective, evidence‑based chart reviews for a nationwide network of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive, unbiased medical chart reviews adhering to MMRO templates.
- Produce clear, concise determinations supported by clinical evidence.
- Communicate findings professionally and meet assigned deadlines.
- Respond promptly to MMRO staff communications and complete required training.
- Incorporate feedback from the Medical Director and contribute ideas for process improvement.
Required profile
- Current, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory (specifically Kentucky license mentioned).
- Board certification by ABMS or AOA in Occupational Medicine or Preventive Medicine.
- At least five years of full‑time clinical experience, with recent practice within the past three years.
- Physical location within the United States or its territories.
Required skills
- Medical chart review and clinical documentation assessment.
- Knowledge of evidence‑based medicine and peer‑review standards.
