In-Store Warehouse Associate

About the role

1915 South, owner and operator of 41 Ashley stores and 4 distribution centers across the southeast, is hiring an In-Store Warehouse Associate in D'Iberville. The associate keeps the retail store warehouse and showroom clean, organized and ready for customers, supporting daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain facility cleanliness, including restrooms, entryways, exterior areas and warehouse spaces
• Remove and manage interior and exterior trash, and break down and organize cardboard and waste
• Unload Ashley and DC trucks safely and efficiently, inspect and stage incoming merchandise
• Assemble furniture accurately for showroom displays following manufacturer guidelines
• Keep floor displays stable, clean, functional and customer-ready, working with the Visual Merchandiser on floor sets and product placement
• Prepare and stage customer pickup orders accurately and securely
• Communicate with store leadership and team members about deliveries and issues

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse, retail or related experience preferred
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift and move furniture up to 150+ lbs. with assistance
• Reliable, professional and able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as required
