In-House Legal Counsel

About the role

The company, a global technology organization, is expanding its U.S. legal team and seeks an In‑House Legal Counsel to provide commercial, corporate and operational legal support across its U.S. operations. This full‑time, hybrid position works closely with business leaders and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad portfolio of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, service, supply and licensing contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance and day‑to‑day operational matters.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk, business strategy and decision‑making.
• Support cross‑functional teams such as operations, finance, procurement and senior leadership.
• Assist with policy development, process improvements and implementation of legal best practices.
• Manage outside counsel when required.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Minimum three years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to commercial contracts and corporate matters.
• Prior in‑house experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with non‑legal stakeholders.
• Willingness to work onsite in Burnsville three days per week.
