Implementation Specialist (Remote, Night Shift)

About the role

A North American tech startup that supplies all-in-one transportation management software to K-12 school districts is hiring an Implementation Specialist. Business Operations spans Product, Engineering and Customer Experience, and the work changes each quarter. The role expects an AI-first approach: start manually, understand the work, then automate it and hand it to the owning team. It is remote, full-time, with full daily overlap with Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional problems, from diagnosis to an installed, measured solution.
• Design the cadences, ownership, SOPs and decision rules teams run on, then cut the manual load with tooling, automation and agents.
• Deliver special projects that have no owner or playbook.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in management consulting, investment banking or business operations in a SaaS company.
• An AI-first approach, including hands-on experience with Claude Code.
• Highly analytical and structured, able to turn a vague problem into a measurable framework; strong Excel modelling.
• Genuine systems thinker, anticipating second-order effects.
• Strong communicator with executive presence and excellent written English.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high autonomy.
