Immigration Attorney – Courtroom Advocacy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced immigration attorney to join a growing legal team in Spring, Texas. The position focuses on courtroom advocacy, case strategy, and direct client guidance across a broad range of immigration matters.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in Immigration Court proceedings, including preliminary, merits, bond, and removal hearings.
• Develop strategy, prepare submissions, and manage affirmative immigration cases through agency review.
• Draft and submit petitions, applications, motions, and supporting evidence with strict adherence to deadlines.
• Support federal court immigration matters, including habeas actions when litigation is required.
• Manage a varied caseload that may include asylum, adjustment of status, naturalization, family‑based filings, waivers, and humanitarian remedies.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for interviews and hearings, explaining procedures and strengthening case readiness.
• Collaborate closely with paralegals and legal support staff to keep files organized and deliver responsive service.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas bar license.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on immigration law experience, with demonstrated removal‑defense and Immigration Court advocacy.
• Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and client communication abilities.
• Ability to handle a busy caseload independently while maintaining quality and timeliness.
