IBM i Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IBM i Developer to join a leading organization in Dallas, TX. You will work with Infinite i to enable IBM i applications to run on Linux, troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure the stability and performance of enterprise‑wide financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate and run IBM i applications on Linux platforms using Infinite i.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents.
• Perform IBM i system administration and performance tuning.
• Support the migration and debugging of a legacy ERP system that has been moved to Linux.
• Collaborate with finance and ERP teams to maintain data integrity and system reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IBM i (AS/400) development or administration experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on RPG programming.
• Strong experience working with Linux servers.
• Familiarity with Data Description Specifications (DDS) for legacy files, screens and printers.
• Background in financial or ERP software implementations.
• Experience with Infinium is a strong plus.
