Human Resources Manager & Recruiter (Fashion & Apparel)

About the role

Unique Brands is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager & Recruiter to lead HR operations and full‑cycle recruiting across its fast‑growing fashion and apparel business. This hybrid position blends hands‑on HR management with deep talent‑acquisition expertise, supporting corporate, retail, and creative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruiting for design, merchandising, production, e‑commerce, marketing, retail operations and other headquarters functions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, write job descriptions and set hiring timelines.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, industry networks, job boards and fashion programs (e.g., FIT, Parsons); build pipelines for seasonal, intern and freelance hires.
• Manage screening, interview coordination, feedback loops and deliver a premium candidate experience.
• Support offer creation, compensation discussions and negotiations.
• Serve as primary HR contact for employees, overseeing onboarding, performance management, employee relations and compliance.
• Drive culture initiatives, employee engagement and retention strategies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of combined HR and talent‑acquisition experience, preferably in fashion or apparel.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and compliance.
• Proven track record of sourcing and hiring top talent across corporate, retail and creative roles.
• Ability to partner effectively with leadership and influence organizational culture.
