Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist at Chart Industries supports both plant and office teams in New Iberia, LA. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role blends strategic partnership with hands‑on HR execution to drive a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align HR initiatives with business priorities and execute the HR business plan.
• Lead full‑cycle talent acquisition, from workforce planning and sourcing to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employee‑relations matters, conduct investigations, and guide performance‑management processes.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs that support compliance, leadership development, and employee engagement.
• Administer HR policies, benefits, and programs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; maintain accurate records in SuccessFactors.
• Monitor EEO and affirmative‑action programs and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience providing HR support in both manufacturing and office environments.
• Ability to navigate industrial settings, including exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for leaders and employees.
