Human Resources Coordinator – Employee Relations

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator – Employee Relations will support SpaceX’s diverse workforce throughout the employee life‑cycle. You will act as a primary point of contact for onboarding, HRIS administration, and employee inquiries while partnering with the HR team to deliver company‑wide programs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with employee relations investigations and conflict resolution.
• Maintain HRIS data for all life‑cycle processes and generate reports for audits.
• Respond to employee questions, provide guidance on policies, and support managers.
• Serve as the onboarding liaison, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
• Update electronic employee files and handle unemployment claims and verification requests.
• Help create, document, and implement HR policies, programs, and processes.
• Support recruitment activities and facilitate site‑wide events such as benefits fairs and team celebrations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality for all HR documents and communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 months of administrative experience (internship qualifies) and 1 + year of experience in a human‑resources role.
• Basic understanding of labor laws and a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment and collaborate across all organization levels.

• Workday, Greenhouse, and UltiPro HRIS platforms.
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
