HRSG Inspection Technician – Travel to Power Plants

About the role

United Dynamics Advanced Technologies Corporation is seeking a skilled HRSG Inspection Technician to travel across the United States, performing inspections and diagnostics on Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and auxiliary equipment at power plants. You will use high‑tech inspection tools and non‑destructive evaluation (NDE) techniques to identify imperfections and support plant maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Travel approximately 165 days per year to gas‑turbine combined‑cycle power plants.
• Conduct visual inspections and NDE of HRSG pressure parts, valves, and instrumentation.
• Compile inspection results and produce recommendation reports for plant engineers and maintenance managers.
• Provide technical support and consultation to clients on HRSG operations.
• Occasionally support inspections of fossil‑fuel boilers.

Required profile

• Experience with gas‑turbine combined‑cycle power plants and HRSG systems.
• Understanding of valve and instrumentation functions within HRSG operations.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work long field hours (60‑70 hrs/week during peak seasons).
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
