HRIS Analyst – Time & Absence

About the role

The Office of Human Resource Management at LSU seeks an HRIS Analyst focused on Time & Absence. You will manage Workday time‑tracking and absence modules, ensure compliance with university leave policies, and provide expert guidance to campus administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration and configuration of Workday Time Tracking and Absence functionality.
• Maintain and update campus leave policies within Workday, ensuring legal and policy compliance.
• Perform fixes, testing, data‑integrity checks, and system updates for assigned Workday modules.
• Develop and maintain documentation, processes, and reports, collaborating with ITS as needed.
• Act as security module administrator and support compensation consultants on special time types and premium pay.
• Process leave transactions, emergency‑related leave, terminations, and audit special leave usage.

Required profile

• Experience working with Workday HRIS modules, particularly Time Tracking and Absence.
• Strong understanding of university or corporate leave policies.
• Ability to analyze data, test system changes, and maintain data integrity.
