HR Specialist

About the role

The HR Specialist will support the Human Resources Manager in delivering a range of HR services across employee relations, training, benefits administration, and policy interpretation. This position works closely with line managers and the call‑center team to ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with employment regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct employee‑relations investigations and fact‑finding activities.
• Assist line management with MSS‑related training and transaction support.
• Support the HR Manager in delivering leadership training programs.
• Participate in the selection process for leadership positions.
• Manage communication and enrollment for employee benefits programs.
• Interpret corporate policies and provide guidance on call‑center practices.
• Implement and communicate company‑wide HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience.
• Experience with third‑party litigation response, unemployment hearings, compensation program administration, corrective‑action processes, and classroom training delivery is preferred.
• Successful completion of drug test, background check, and any required pre‑employment assessments.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, especially with word‑processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word).
• Strong multitasking ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR principles.
• Conflict‑resolution expertise and systematic problem‑solving approach.
