HR Operations Analyst

About the role

A respected private liberal arts institution is looking for an HR Operations Analyst to support and optimize its Human Resources operations. The role focuses on managing the Workday HRIS environment, ensuring data integrity, and driving process improvements across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support the organization’s Workday HRIS platform, including data management, system configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with HR leadership to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and data analytics to support business decision‑making.
• Support HR processes such as onboarding, job changes, compensation updates, benefits administration, and off‑boarding within Workday.
• Assist with testing, implementation, and rollout of Workday enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and operational support.
• Develop and maintain HR process documentation, SOPs, and user training materials.
• Provide end‑user support and guidance for HR system functionality and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum three years of HRIS experience, preferably with Workday.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments.
