HR Manager – Arizona Facility

About the role

Outerspace is seeking an experienced HR Manager to serve as the primary HR presence at its Arizona facility. You will lead all people‑related functions on‑site, partnering closely with the headquarters HR team to ensure consistent policy, culture, and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Manage onboarding, orientation, and ongoing engagement initiatives for both direct hires and temporary workers.
• Administer day‑to‑day HR operations through the PEO platform, maintaining employee data, personnel files, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, Arizona state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, workers’ compensation).
• Oversee leave of absence processes, accommodation requests, and workplace safety coordination.
• Collect, review, and submit timesheets for hourly and temporary staff, resolve discrepancies, and support accurate payroll processing.
