HR Generalist – New York (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a respected financial services organization seeking a hands‑on HR Generalist to support its New York office. This hybrid position offers exposure to a broad range of HR functions while working closely with business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations.
• Oversee performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes.
• Drive HR operations, process improvements, and employee engagement programs.
• Provide guidance on compliance and employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Support organizational planning, change management, and workforce analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong employee‑relations background.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. employment laws.
• SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence at all organizational levels.
