HR Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on HR Generalist to become the go‑to people professional for our growing US team. Based in Atlanta, you will own the full employee lifecycle, from HR operations and compliance to coaching managers through complex employee‑relations cases, shaping the role as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Own US HR compliance, keeping policies current as the business expands, with a focus on Georgia employment law.
• Develop, document, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures for a scaling workforce.
• Manage off‑boarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation.
• Partner with the Office and Recruitment Coordinator on hiring administration and onboarding.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee‑relations matters, handling cases with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Coach and advise managers on performance conversations, employee‑relations issues, and people decisions.
• Support performance review cycles and ensure a consistent, fair approach.
• Collaborate on workforce planning, culture building, and continuous improvement of people processes.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a scaling SME, startup, or tech/fintech environment.
• SHRM‑CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law, with Georgia‑specific experience essential.
• Proven ability to handle employee‑relations cases independently and advise managers at all levels.
• Low‑ego, collaborative approach that builds trust quickly.
• Based in Atlanta and able to work on‑site most days.

Required skills

• HR certification (SHRM‑CP, PHR).
• Knowledge of US and Georgia employment law.
