HR Generalist

About the role

Bath & Body Works is seeking an HR Generalist to support its people strategy and deliver high‑quality HR services across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to associates and leaders, ensuring compliance, fostering a positive culture, and helping the business achieve its goals.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and influence business and HR strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Manage high‑volume, escalated HR matters including inquiries, crisis support, conflict resolution, AP dispositions, and investigations.
• Provide counsel on associate relations, absence management, and performance management.
• Identify trends and risks, driving policy improvements and cultural initiatives.
• Collaborate with Associate Connect leaders, HR Business Partners, and people leaders on performance and engagement topics.
• Deliver best‑in‑class HR experiences through face‑to‑face, phone, and written communications.
• Support and execute HR and change initiatives in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources function.
• Retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to lead through change and navigate fast‑paced demands.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent critical thinking, decision‑making, and customer‑service skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
