HR Generalist

About the role

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support our Payments business. The role will deliver day‑to‑day HR services across the employee lifecycle, partnering with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and business leaders to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and general employment questions.
• Manage high‑volume onboarding, offboarding and internal transfers, including documentation and HRIS updates.
• Support HR Business Partners with organizational initiatives, performance management, talent reviews and compensation processes.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to coordinate new‑hire orientation, onboarding activities and track probationary milestones.
• Assist with routine employee relations matters, investigations, performance improvement plans and disciplinary documentation.
• Process employee changes, promotions, salary adjustments and ensure data accuracy in HRIS.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics for business leaders and support compliance audits.
• Participate in HR projects such as engagement initiatives and workforce planning.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a fast‑growing technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems (experience with any HRIS platform).
• Familiarity with onboarding, offboarding and employee data management processes.
