HR Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist will manage daily HR operations, acting as a bridge between departments to support talent management, performance, compensation, and employee development. This role ensures smooth administration of benefits, compliance, HRIS, and onboarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, disability, life insurance, COBRA, and 401(k) and support open enrollment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; monitor policies and recommend best practices.
• Optimize and maintain the HRIS system, ensuring accurate employee data, providing technical support, and conducting regular audits.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and develop action plans for performance, retention, and engagement.
• Lead wellness program initiatives and manage related budgets.
• Support leave of absence management and handle compliance reporting.
• Assist talent acquisition and new‑hire onboarding as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR generalist functions covering benefits, compliance, and HRIS administration.
• Strong analytical abilities to review data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to serve as liaison across departments.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
