HR Coordinator – Talent & Engagement

About the role

The Talent and Engagement division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide functional support across all HR disciplines. You will play a key role in delivering people‑focused solutions, handling transactional HR activities, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Process confidential employee lifecycle transactions, including recruiting, onboarding, background screening, retention, engagement, and off‑boarding.
• Support HRIS/Workday transactions and maintain accurate employee data.
• Serve as Content Editor for the internal intranet, updating databases and intranet content.
• Perform receptionist duties, greeting visitors, answering phones, and responding to employee inquiries.
• Coordinate and support special projects, Bank‑wide events, and engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with department policies, procedures, and applicable state/federal laws.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated dependability, self‑motivation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Physical ability to lift or carry up to 10 pounds.

Required skills

• Workday (HRIS) proficiency.
• General PC/software application proficiency.
