About the role

The Manager, HR Business Partner – Retail serves as a strategic people partner for ALO’s retail leadership, supporting store operations and field teams across a geographically dispersed workforce. This role aligns people strategies with business objectives, driving performance, engagement, and compliance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior retail leaders, shaping strategic people initiatives and organizational design.
• Champion change management, assess organizational health, and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead talent management programs, including succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning.
• Design and implement scalable employee experience and engagement programs, using data to improve retention.
• Provide strategic guidance on employee‑relations matters, conduct thorough investigations, and resolve escalated issues.
• Develop and execute performance‑management strategies, coaching leaders on feedback, goal‑setting, and team development.
• Ensure HR practices comply with evolving labor laws, anticipate risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coach and develop HR Business Partners, ensuring consistent support across the organization.
• Utilize HR analytics to identify trends, inform decisions, and report key metrics.
