HR Business Partner Manager

About the role

NextDecade is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Business Partner Manager to support assigned corporate functions. Based in Houston, TX, this role partners with leaders to execute workforce plans, drive hiring and internal mobility, and implement scalable talent practices across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day‑to‑day HR partner for assigned corporate client groups, building trusted relationships and providing consultative guidance aligned to business priorities.
• Support implementation, maintenance, and communication of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with legal and company standards.
• Deliver communications, manager toolkits, and training materials to reinforce policy rollouts and promote adoption.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Learning & Development to deliver consistent, scalable programs and an excellent employee experience.
• Leverage Workday to support organizational changes, maintain position and reporting structures, and ensure data accuracy.
• Support staffing for corporate functions, including workforce planning, job leveling, role scoping, and coordination of the selection process.
• Coach interviewers, ensure equitable and compliant hiring processes, and enable internal mobility.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or manager in a fast‑paced, growing environment.
• Strong business acumen and sound judgment with the ability to translate data and insights into practical people recommendations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, capable of influencing senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results across the employee lifecycle.
