Housekeeping Manager – Hilton Garden Inn, Mt. Laurel

About the role

Our company is seeking a hardworking, service‑oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The role focuses on maintaining clean guest rooms and public areas while controlling overtime and staffing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily timecards, address early clock‑ins, late clock‑outs and ensure staff only clock in when actively working.
• Adjust room assignments and staffing schedules to balance workloads and minimize unnecessary overtime.
• Document call‑outs, differentiate legitimate sick time from patterned absences, and coach staff on attendance.
• Ensure all rooms and public areas are completed before authorising overtime and review exceptions daily.
• Communicate staffing impacts to HR and Operations, and participate in weekly overtime and staffing reviews.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team.
• Capable of lifting at least 25 pounds.
• Excellent time‑management and customer‑service skills.
