House Manager / Family Assistant with Childcare Support

About the role

We are seeking a proactive House Manager/Family Assistant to support our busy household in Central Massachusetts. The role combines childcare, household organization, and the potential to grow into executive/personal assistant duties.

Key responsibilities

• School and activity pickups, bus stop coverage, and light backup childcare.
• Maintain household organization systems, daily tidying, seasonal decorating, and support for family gatherings.
• Manage grocery shopping, pantry restocking, household orders, and donation drop‑offs.
• Handle laundry, linen rotation, and vehicle upkeep.
• Assist with meal prep, packing for trips, and occasional administrative support such as calendar management and travel logistics.

Required profile

• Proactive, anticipatory, and able to stay one step ahead of household needs.
• Experienced in household or family assistant roles with reliable, consistent performance.
• Highly organized, systems‑oriented, and comfortable using digital tools like calendars and spreadsheets.
• Polished communicator who can interact warmly with family members and guests.
• Reliable transportation, CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain), and authorized to work in the US.
