Host – Le Supreme

About the role

Le Supreme Detroit is seeking a warm, poised, hospitality‑driven Host to be the first point of welcome for guests. As the face of the modern French brasserie, you will set the tone for the dining experience by delivering gracious, efficient service in a design‑forward environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain an organized host stand and uphold visual standards of the entry area.
• Communicate with the service team to support pacing and guest experience.
• Escort guests to tables, provide menus, and highlight notable offerings.
• Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and provide accurate restaurant information.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with grace and efficiency.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and service standards.

Required profile

• 1+ year experience in a host, guest services, or front‑of‑house role (upscale or high‑volume preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Warm, guest‑focused demeanor with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and weekend brunch availability.

Required skills

• Familiarity with reservation platforms such as Resy, OpenTable, or similar.
