Hospital Administrative Clerk – Onsite in Misawa, Japan

About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Hospital Administrative Clerk to join its on‑site team at the medical treatment facility in Misawa, Japan. This full‑time role supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and Department of the Navy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards, applicable laws, and Navy directives.
• Participate in peer‑review, performance improvement, and family advocacy programs.
• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergency patient situations, documenting all actions.
• Notify supervisors of issues beyond the clerk’s authority.
• Attend mandatory annual training, including disaster response, infection control, and CBRNE.
• Assist in in‑service training for clinic staff as directed.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Operate and manipulate automated healthcare systems such as CHCS, AHLTA, ADS, Essentris, and the Clinical Information System (CIS).

Required profile

• Ability to work in a regulated military healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to legal and procedural guidelines.
• Calm demeanor in high‑stress or emergency situations.
• Willingness to complete all required training and certifications.
