About the role
BAYADA at Inspira Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to join its interdisciplinary team in Woodbury, NJ. Volunteers provide emotional, practical, and supportive assistance to clients facing terminal illness and their families.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with home management tasks such as light housekeeping and errands.
- Provide companionship, friendship, and caregiver relief.
- Offer specialty services like Reiki, massage, pet therapy, music, art, or end‑of‑life doula support.
- Serve as a transport escort when needed.
- Help with clerical duties, memorial service planning, and bereavement support.
Required profile
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Meet all applicable state volunteer requirements and BAYADA regulations for any professional services offered.
