Home Health Registered Nurse – Flexible Shifts

About the role

BrightStar Care of Greater Waukesha and Lake Country is seeking a compassionate Home Health Registered Nurse to provide in‑home care to patients across Waukesha County and Lake Country. You will work flexible shifts, delivering high‑quality nursing services that promote independence, safety, and comfort for each client.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other clinical treatments.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, safety, and wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team.
• Document all care accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Promote patient independence and support positive health outcomes.

Required profile

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum one year of documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lb, and perform varied physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Certified CPR and a negative TB test or chest X‑ray.
