High Rise Maintenance Supervisor – Avidor Evanston

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the technical, mechanical and maintenance operations of our high‑rise community in Evanston. The role ensures that all interior and exterior areas, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common spaces, are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality, delivering a superior living experience for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance activities for a high‑rise residential property.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning work orders and ensuring timely completion.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other building system issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to uphold regulatory and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and local building codes.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising maintenance operations in multi‑unit residential or commercial properties.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to direct staff and interact with residents.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple work orders and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations and best‑practice maintenance procedures.
