Healthcare Lead Qualifier (Remote)

About the role

The Healthcare Lead Qualifier is the first point of contact for patients, providers and healthcare organisations reaching out to the company. The role manages and qualifies inbound inquiries and runs targeted outbound follow-ups, assessing medical and service fit, building trust and scheduling consultations or admissions for the clinical and advisory teams. A voice note will be requested during screening.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound phone calls, website inquiries and live chats from patients, caregivers or referring physicians.
• Screen prospects with structured discovery questions to assess their healthcare needs, urgency and fit.
• Gather preliminary data such as demographics, medical history summaries, insurance details or provider referral data.
• Explain services, programmes, facilities and care processes to callers.
• Route qualified leads to Clinical Coordinators, Care Advisors or Account Executives with full context.
• Document every interaction in the healthcare CRM or EHR while keeping HIPAA compliance and patient privacy intact.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in high-volume call centres, customer service, inside sales or intake coordination, preferably in healthcare, medical devices or insurance.
• Outstanding active listening and verbal communication, handling sensitive or confidential conversations with empathy.
• Willingness to learn HIPAA and patient data privacy standards.
• Ability to manage high-volume queues while entering data accurately in real time.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology or health insurance verification (co-pays, deductibles, out-of-network).

Required skills

• CRM systems such as Salesforce Health Cloud or HubSpot, and cloud phone tools such as Aircall or RingCentral.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Written and verbal communication, problem solving, independent and team work, time management.
