Health, Safety & Environment Technician

About the role

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Technician to support its manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety regulations, fostering a 5S culture, and assisting the HSE manager with program implementation and training.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify hazards and verify compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal standards.
• Deliver training programs on first aid, CPR, OSHA regulations, and occupational health practices.
• Assist the HSE manager in investigating incidents, performing root‑cause analysis, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to promote proactive safety communication and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health practices.
• Background in training and development related to EHS topics.
• Proficiency in clear, technical report writing.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Familiarity with root‑cause analysis techniques and 5S methodology (advantageous).
