Health Aide 3 – Night Shift at East Central Regional Hospital

About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a compassionate Health Aide 3 to join the inpatient team at East Central Regional Hospital’s Gracewood Campus. This night‑shift position supports adults with serious mental illness in a high‑quality, person‑centered environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist nurses and physicians in delivering direct care to patients.
- Perform basic nursing procedures and monitor patient wellbeing.
- Support patients’ recovery through daily living activities and therapeutic interactions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a related caregiving role or prior experience as a Health Aide 2.
- Ability to work under general supervision in an acute inpatient setting.
Required skills
- Basic patient care techniques.
- Understanding of mental health and behavioral health environments.
