Head of Supply Planning – North America

About the role

The Head of Supply Planning for North America will lead a customer‑ and market‑focused supply planning organisation, ensuring that demand is translated into effective buying, allocation and replenishment strategies. Reporting to the Managing Director for North America, this senior leader will drive business performance, healthy inventory levels and sustainable growth across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end supply planning process for North America, from demand translation to inventory optimisation.
• Develop and execute buying, allocation and replenishment plans that balance customer needs, market realities and operational efficiency.
• Partner with commercial, finance and operations teams to align supply plans with business objectives and profitability targets.
• Identify risks and opportunities, influence strategic decisions and champion continuous improvement of systems and processes.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing supply planning team, fostering accountability, collaboration and an inclusive culture.
• Represent the continent’s supply planning function in senior leadership forums and communicate decisions with clarity and impact.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in supply planning, supply chain or related functions within fast‑paced, complex environments.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business results and driving profitable growth.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute operationally.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder‑management and influencing skills.
