Head of Quality, Compliance & Safety

About the role

The Head of Quality, Compliance & Safety leads the organization’s integrated quality management system, ensuring aircraft airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment. Reporting to senior leadership, this role has authority to stop activities that pose unacceptable risk to product quality or safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance policies aligned with AS9100 Rev D, FAA Part 145, and EASA regulations.
• Serve as Management Representative for the Integrated Management System and manage AS9100 certification and FAA Repair Station compliance.
• Plan, conduct and document internal audits; coordinate responses to external audits and assessments.
• Oversee non‑conformance, corrective action processes, and customer complaint investigations.
• Manage calibration of measurement and inspection equipment, inspection stamp issuance, and work‑pack inspector qualifications for A320 and A220 programs.
• Maintain the Standard Work Instruction library, document control, and risk register.
• Develop and enforce workplace health and safety programs, conduct safety surveillance, and manage the Emergency Response Plan.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in aerospace quality, compliance, or safety.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, FAA, and EASA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation.
