Head of Operations

About the role

The Head of Operations will lead and scale the end‑to‑end warehouse, fulfillment, and distribution network for a fast‑growing digital health and pharmacy platform. This high‑impact position reports directly to senior leadership and is responsible for driving cost efficiencies, expanding facilities, and ensuring seamless execution across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own all warehouse, fulfillment, and distribution operations across multiple locations.
• Reduce labor cost per prescription through performance optimization and process redesign.
• Redesign workflows, throughput models, and implement improved process flows.
• Lead facility expansion projects, including layout design and capacity planning.
• Optimize shipping, packaging, and logistics strategies for cost and efficiency.
• Build, manage, and develop large, multi‑layered operational teams.
• Establish KPIs, reporting, and performance management systems across sites.
• Partner with supply chain, procurement, and growth planning leadership.
• Act as a hands‑on influencer, regularly engaging on‑site to drive execution and accountability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in high‑scale logistics or distribution environments.
• Proven track record managing large, complex warehouse or fulfillment operations.
• Deep expertise in labor optimization, facility scaling, and process improvement.
• Strong operator mindset with willingness to work on the floor.
• Background in high‑growth or resource‑constrained (startup/scale‑up) settings.
• Background rooted in logistics, distribution, and physical operations rather than clinical pharmacy.

Required skills

• Annual base salary between $170,000 and $200,000 USD.
