Head of Game Security

About the role

CoinPoker, a crypto-poker platform built on blockchain technology, is hiring a Head of Game Security to protect game integrity on its platform. The role is fully remote and acts as the single point of contact for all game and general security technology requirements, owns the security technology roadmap, leads the Game Security team and turns emerging poker fraud trends into detection priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single intake point for game and general security requirements going to Product and Tech, and own and prioritise the roadmap covering RTA/solver detection, bots, collusion, account takeover, multi-accounting, KYC and payment and bonus abuse.
• Write requirements, sign off releases and measure each tool's impact, and lead build-versus-buy decisions on vendors and data sources.
• Manage and develop the game analyst team and own end-to-end workflows: triage, investigation, sanctions, confiscations and appeals.
• Improve the current tech stack through better rules, thresholds and automation.
• Track fraud trends in online poker and crypto gambling, brief leadership monthly, and coordinate threat handling with PRM, Support, Payments, BI and Agents.

Required profile

• 5+ years in game integrity, fraud or trust and safety, with at least 2 years leading a team.
• Online poker or real-money gaming experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of current poker threats such as RTA/solvers, bots, collusion, chip dumping, ghosting and multi-accounting, and how they are detected.
• A track record of owning a tech roadmap, with strong investigative judgment and clear written evidence that holds up to player appeals.

Required skills

• SQL and enough Python to prototype detection logic.
• Working understanding of how game servers, clients and anti-cheat systems fit together.
• Nice to have: crypto payments, on-chain analysis or AML; GTO solvers, statistical or ML-based player profiling; device fingerprinting, behavioural biometrics or anti-bot vendors.
