Head of Finance

About the role

Hivemind is seeking a detail‑oriented Head of Finance to own and evolve the end‑to‑end finance function across the management company, funds, and affiliated entities. You will shape the firm’s financial architecture, drive operational rigor, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership while mentoring a high‑performing accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and long‑range financial strategy.
• Build and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and performance dashboards for investment, operational, and fundraising decisions.
• Prepare executive‑level financial reporting, including variance analysis, cash runway, KPIs, and risk assessments.
• Support fundraising and capital‑formation activities with financial materials, diligence responses, and investor‑facing analyses.
• Design and implement scalable finance processes, controls, and operating procedures across the organization.
• Oversee month‑end close, reconciliations, consolidated reporting, and fund accounting deliverables.
• Manage treasury and liquidity functions in both fiat and digital‑asset environments.
• Coordinate capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and review governing documents for compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in a multi‑entity or asset‑management context.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop accounting professionals.
• Comfortable working at both transaction‑level detail and high‑level strategic planning.
