Hardware Support Specialist (French Speaking)

About the role

LVT is looking for a French‑speaking Hardware Support Specialist to join a small, high‑performing team that troubleshoots the mechanical and electrical components of its AI‑driven site technology. The role is office‑based but focuses on providing remote, phone‑based assistance to field technicians, leveraging hands‑on experience with multimeters, battery systems, and electrical diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues using voltage, current, temperature, and relay‑state charts.
• Provide phone support to field technicians and partner installers during installations and repairs.
• Guide technicians through mechanical challenges and recommend replacement parts.
• Document findings, case notes, and detailed parts reports for each support interaction.
• Maintain compliance with Utah Alarm Agent registration, including background checks and fingerprinting.

Required profile

• Background in automotive repair, electrical work, or large‑home system installations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with multimeters and battery troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical data charts and convey solutions clearly over the phone.
• Fluent in French and English.
