Guest Experience Manager – Merchandise

About the role

Join the Disney Character Warehouse team in Tampa as a Guest Experience Manager – Merchandise. You will lead a multicultural crew, ensuring safety, inclusion, and exceptional service for every guest while overseeing all aspects of daily merchandise operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize cast and guest safety through compliance, loss‑prevention, and emergency response.
• Lead, mentor, and coach Front‑of‑House and Back‑of‑House cast members, providing timely feedback and recognition.
• Adjust floor plans and execute large‑scale set changes based on inventory levels.
• Communicate daily with Orlando partners, share inventory updates, and use data to drive product decisions.
• Monitor key performance indicators, forecast staffing needs, and manage supplies, stock, and operating expenses.
• Promote an inclusive environment, inspire through pre‑shift meetings, and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Support local projects while ensuring they do not impact the guest or cast experience.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse, hard‑working teams.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and loss‑prevention.
• Excellent communication skills for both cast members and guests.
• Decision‑making aptitude to balance financial objectives with guest satisfaction.
• Experience managing both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house retail operations.
