Guest Agent / Front Desk

About the role

The Guest Services Agent supports front desk operations and ensures guests receive exceptional service from arrival through checkout at the Hyatt Regency Deerfield.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with arrival, departure, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Process registrations, handle cash and credit transactions, and manage guest accounts accurately at checkout.
• Communicate guest requests and special needs to appropriate departments and resolve complaints promptly.
• Generate daily and weekly reports, reconcile room status with housekeeping, and maintain confidentiality of guest information.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Previous front desk experience, preferably with the Hyatt brand.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a moderately complex computer reservation system.
• Cash handling and credit card transaction processing.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
