Groundskeeper/Porter – Oak Street Station

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the physical appearance and functionality of Oak Street Station, ensuring the community’s grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal meet Greystar’s standards. This role supports the service team by keeping common areas clean, handling trash removal, and assisting with unit turn‑around processes.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities tidy.
• Collect and dispose of trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters or designated storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Perform minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnover, including basic cleaning and preparation tasks.
• Change locks in accordance with property procedures and maintain security of common areas.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Willingness to follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with the service team.
