Groundskeeper – Villas on the Hill (Temple, TX)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Villas on the Hill community in Temple, Texas. The role supports the service team by keeping common areas, amenities, and surrounding grounds clean, functional, and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste, and ensure all common areas and amenities are tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist with unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features operate correctly.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining community standards.
