Groundskeeper – Residential Learning Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance and safety of the Residential Learning Community, ensuring that grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards. This onsite role supports the service team and contributes to a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with turn‑over activities.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to work independently, observe safety protocols, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Reliability and willingness to respond to urgent situations as they arise.
