Groundskeeper / Porter for Apartment Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper/Porter will maintain the appearance and safety of the Corban Freedom Apartments community in Orlando. Working closely with the service team, you will ensure that grounds, amenities, and common areas are clean, well‑kept, and welcoming for residents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet waste, and keep all common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant units before the make‑ready process, transport waste to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features comply with codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident inquiries, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents or incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
