Groundskeeper for Willow Plaza Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper will maintain the physical appearance and safety of Willow Plaza, ensuring the community’s curb appeal and amenities meet Greystar’s standards. This onsite role supports the service team and contributes to a pleasant living environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping all common areas and amenities clean.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage spaces.
• Complete minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and ensure pool‑area gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces.
• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and timely hazard reporting.
