Groundskeeper for Vantage Med Center

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Vantage Med Center community in Houston. The role involves daily inspection of common areas, removal of litter and debris, and support for the service team to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and clean all common areas, amenities, and grounds throughout the day, removing litter, debris, and pet waste.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist with apartment turn‑over tasks.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates and other safety features comply with codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communicate important information as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answering resident questions and addressing maintenance complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
