Groundskeeper – Bellrock Summer Street

About the role

The Groundskeeper will maintain the physical appearance and safety of the Bellrock Summer Street community in Houston. This role ensures that all outdoor areas, amenities, and common spaces are clean, well‑kept, and meet Greystar’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and keep common areas tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain those storage zones.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turn‑overs.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects and crawling in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
