Groundskeeper at Granary Flats

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of the Granary Flats community in Richmond, Texas. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will ensure that all outdoor areas, common spaces and amenities are clean, well‑kept and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the property throughout the day, removing litter, debris and pet waste from lawns, walkways, playgrounds and other common areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash from vacant units, transport it to dumpsters or storage areas, and keep storage spaces tidy.
• Perform minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready team during unit turnovers.
• Change locks and secure gates in accordance with property policies.
• Maintain landscaping equipment, report needed repairs, and support other maintenance staff as required.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and follow established safety and quality standards.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks, lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to keeping the community presentable.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and residents.
